One of English education study Program lecturers of Muhammadiyah University of Metro Bpk. Dedy Subandowo, M.A. joined Talent Scouting on 25 - 27 August, 2016 in 101 Hotel Darmawangsa, South Jakarta. Talent scouting is an annual event held by the Ministry of Higher Education (KemristekDIKTI). This event is to organize for the state and private universities lecturers in Indonesia to pursue their higher study for PhD in abroad. The main purpose of this program is expected to improve communication skills and academic writing, search for and get a college targets abroad, develop a research proposal, as well as the procedures for applying for and interviewing techniques Postgraduate Scholarship for Foreign Affairs Directorate General of Higher Education. Another conjunction with this program is there will be a follow up three-month English course in Bandung for the selected candidates based on the result of English test done one day before the program was officially closed.

Lecturers have a National Identification Number (NIDN);
Not older than 49 years; S2 already have a degree or equivalent and have not had a doctorate (S3);
English Proficiency (ITP TOEFL score of at least 500 or IELTS at least 5.5);
Willing to join the training for 2 (two) days.
